Where to begin? I would say I didn’t think too much about the home buying experience before I met Cathleen. I’m part of the camp that said ‘why pay so much to an agent?’. I first encountered Cathleen when she was representing a buyer at an open house. Long story short, the sale of our home fell through because of lack of due diligence on behalf of our agent. Seems she had not checked out some fundamental things when vetting a buyer. Because we were so impressed with Cathleen’s knowledge base and experience in real estate and interior design we offered her the position to sell our home. She came down to our home, did a walk through and made some key suggestions in order to list our home again. These were ideas that we would have never thought of but her perspective really helped in sprucing up the place, which wasn’t that bad to start with. She was gracious enough to supply the items to stage the home as well. We sold our home at a great price. But it doesn’t stop there. She helped us search for our next home and we must’ve avoided at least three potential financially draining situations. She is keen with her eye in terms of neighborhood, structure, layout, and pitfalls. She would go above and beyond to figure out costs for remodels on homes we were interested in. She always had our best interest in mind. She is an agent because she loves it. Cathleen is very aggressive in negotiations and she will always do what’s right. There’s no nonsense about her and she will follow your pace in search of a home. For our family she is more than an agent. We loved working with her!
